Fresh Pond Golf Course turf conditions
Fresh Pond Golf Course is soft in places today
Playable but soft, carts may be path only.
- 0.00 in of rain in the last 48 hours against a medium-drainage soil profile.
- Warm and breezy at 71F with 12 mph wind, which pulls water off the turf faster.
- Winter: ground is cooler and drains more slowly, so the call is one level more cautious.
Cambridge MA glacial deposits with pond proximity typical of New England courses. Well-draining glacial sand/gravel substrate offset by urban flat terrain and water features suggests moderate drainage recovery after rain.
